System Overview
Primary Components
ReactFire's Advanced Target System is designed to be modular and flexible enough to accomodate a wide range (pun intended) of user requirements.
Advanced Target System Controller
The controller is the brain of your system, sending movement commands to each of the targets and providing a web control interface that you can access with a laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
ATS Target Motors
Target motors move targets. They receive commands from the controller and power from the power supply. Each motor module has its own address (1 through 30) enabling each targeet in your system to move independently. For example, if you have a line of 20 targets and want to run a shoot/don't-shoot drill, the controller can have each target move through its own unique random sequence.
Power Supplies
The power supply provides the required 48V DC power for both your ATS Target Motors and your ATS Controller. For your convenience, you can plug the power supply into ANY of your ATS Target Motors. The other ATS Target Motors and the ATS Controller will share power through the control cables. This greatly simplifies your setup. The system is flexible and can run on 12V batteries or plug-in to a 120V AC source.
>> Important Note about Power Supplies <<
When you order a set, we make sure your included power supply is enough for your set. As you add more ATS Target Motors you will need to ensure you have enough power supply capacity to support the additional motors.
A handy "rule of thumb" is to plan for aproximately 40W of power supply capacity for each ATS Target Motor in your system. You can combine any of our 48V power supplies to provide enough totoal wattage to meet the needs of your system. Feel free to reach out if you need help planning your system!
